The Health and Safety Executive Committee (HSEC) is a joint committee of the Council and the General Board.

Its main purpose is to ensure the implementation and regular review of the University's Health and Safety Policy and related strategy.

The Committee's academic membership receives professional advice from attending officers with health and safety expertise.

If you agree to submit a paper, you must submit it by the deadline before a meeting. The deadlines for 2025/26 are:
