The University Council is responsible for overseeing arrangements for incident management and business continuity planning (see the University's Incident Management and Business Continuity Policy for details of arrangements). In particular, the Council oversees 1) the status of Incident Management and Business Continuity Plans in institutions under the supervision of the Council and 2) the work of the University's Silver Team. On behalf of the Council, the General Board oversees the status of Incident Management and Business Continuity Plans in General Board institutions.
The Council and the General Board receive annual reports every Easter Term on the status of plans in the institutions under their supervision. The University's Audit Committee receives both reports for assurance purposes.
